he can literally spend a whole day on live. like this man really needs to touch grass sometimes. but his viewers are so loyal and supportive that they accepted you immediately (ofc there were hate comments but hc banned those ppl lol) and it just made hc so happy bc he loves sharing his passion with you. can someone get this man off league of legend and valorant? like you always try to convince him to play something else and sometimes he does bc it's with you but as soon as he can go back to his games he will. oh and you both loves reacts sooo much and he's mostly known for those reacts bc you both are just so funny. loves small horror games bc he can hold you while he plays bc you're scared and he also likes making fun of your reactions. takes breaks just to call you between games "say hi to the chat baby", "can you come over i miss you". when it comes to showing affection, he gets more and more comfortable with time, starting with small kisses and touchings to sitting on his lap and small neck kisses. you get worried a lot bc of the time he spend on playing games but he always reassure you that he's fine. has 2 days off in the week to spend time with you and rest. even if he spends a lot of time on his pc, he always listen when it gets too much for you and try his best to give you the attention you need.

keep inventory is my saviour- i would literally flop over and die if i spent a long time alive in a survival world only to be looking the other way when a skeleton shoots me. especially if my base is far from spawn. like what am i supposed to do?! sigh. survival is not for me-

the world generation update was honestly my favourite, i love the new biomes. my favourite is definitely birch forest, but the og grasslands is great too, and the cherry blossom ones are really pretty. though when i'm just exploring, my favourite to chance upon are the mushroom fields, because the mooshrooms are ADORABLE!! i mean, is there a cuter creature?! the mooshrooms have my whole entire heart. i wish i had a pet mooshroom in real life. i would take really good care of it trust-

my least favourite biomes are badlands and like the place where there's a lot of terracotta. i don't know why, i just don't like the vibe. and i'm low-key scared of the big snowy mountain ones because of all the powdered snow- but i'd go there for you! you should totally build us a house if (when?) we play together~ i like bases with really big windows so i can always tell what's going on outside. and pet mooshrooms. you should get me an elytra too, and i'll hide behind a pillar and cheer you on! (i have never managed to beat the ender dragon on my own sob it's too scary but also adorable i want to keep it as a pet too. i tried that once, actually, but the dragons kept flying to coordinates 0,0 for some reason. don't run away from me dragons my heart will break </3)

SO SO REAL WITH THE KEEP INVENTORY THING!! People who play without keep inventory and complain about those who do are just JEALOUS we can die and go back 2 our base immediately with all our stuff when thousands of blocks out!! (￣^￣)

I was not expecting birch forest, I feel like that’s a pretty uncommon favorite biome but it’s not a bad one either!! Birch forests are super pretty and birch wood looks nice when used correctly!! I love the look of stripped birch logs… which is weirdly specific but I think they make good flooring. Grasslands are also a good biome, nice and flat with not many trees. Makes a good place to build!! Mushroom islands are always so fun to find because of their rarity, I like the mushroom blocks there and the mooshrooms are pretty cute. You may not be able to get a pet mooshroom in real life… but we can have lots and lots of them in our world!!

I can see why you wouldn’t like those biomes… the vibes do kinda suck. They’re pretty boring to look at and bare resource-wise. They’re good biomes for making like wild west themed builds though! Terracota is a good block to use in pixel art. I prefer flatter taigas… the big mountains also intimidate me from the snow. Powdered snow is so scary and I never want 2 come across it. I definitely will build us a super cute house when we play together!! I’m surprised you picked up on my wording there, ehehe. I want it to be a “when”, not an “if”, because I’d love to be able to get to know you better!! I’ll definitely try to incorporate lots of windows into our base and we can have so so many pet mooshrooms! Your support for beating the dragon is very much appreciated, I will make sure you get only the best gear and an elytra!! After we beat the dragon the first time we can definitely spawn it again and try to take it back to the overworld…. lots of work but if it’ll make you happy then it is all worth it ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡

I reallyyy think that its got something to do with all the gaming apps installed there...since some of my siblings use my computer (hehe its not like actuallly my computer but my brother—the one who's trying to fix my monitor actually the one who owns it but then gave it to me, i hope it makes sense lol).

On the gaming one! I dont really play that ever since vacation or technically the computer broke, but i do play a little bit of farlight, or uh roblox if i wanna feel cruel and bully kids haha, but i do remember playing my siblings' game—Valorant.

My first time on Valorant was engraved in my mind because of the humiliating act i did.

I was playing as sage, the agent thats kind of similar like elsa 😭 idk how to describe her—i apologise, but uh, i used this skill of hers where she can slow down people by using an orb. Then i kind of mistook the slow orb as a healing skill AND USED IT AGAINST MY TEAMMATE WHOS ASKING FOR A HEAL—I FELT SOO BAD BECAUSE WE FAILED THAT ROUND BECAUSE OF ME, AND THE FACT THAT THEY DIDN'T BLAME ME ADDS POINT TO MY GUILT SCORE HAHA

anyways, have u ever had an embarrassing moment like that while gaming? LOL

What kinda gamer is ThatLuckyBear?

This is a long post. So I'm into video games maybe a bit too much. Here's what I like:

Tetris + Dr. Mario (puzzle games): Core to my gaming spirit. I like to do speedruns of 0-21 on Dr. Mario 64 and I've been known to play 0-20 on Dr. Mario for the NES as well. I loved Tetris since NES but fell back in love with Tetris DS and now I mostly just do sprints on tetr.io. I'm also a 8 chain Puyo-Puyo scrub and I like the game but lack the energy to get better at it. Since this is kind of in the vein of puzzle solving the Ace Attorney games as well as oldschool Point and Click adventure games are wonderful for me as well.

Soulslike: These are all fun. I haven't played most of them though. Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne are my favs and I've put a lot of time into Elden Ring but Miquella shut down my run and I haven't had time to grind it out. I'll finish it eventually though.

Metroidvania: Huge fan of the genre. Hollowknight is my favorite at time of writing but Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow is an ultra banger and I would have a hard time not mentioning it. I've played all the DS Castlevanias and I love them all.

Schlooters: Looting and shooting is fun. I play coop with my wife and we really enjoy Borderlands. We also had a good time with Outriders. Destiny 2 has been kinda tough to get into but we're trying to get a feel for it before investing any money.

MMORPGS: I've been doing these since 2003 if you can believe it. I was playing Ragnarok Online pre-beta by sneaking onto jRO. I really hit the road running with the iRO beta. Since then I've put a lot of love into Tera Online (Elin berserker just tickles my "hehe" bone, I had a popo too but Elin was the best imo) - I enjoyed FFXIV (Lala paladin) but it's too expensive for me to keep up with the monthly. I really wanna finish FFXIV's story someday. Phantasy Star Online, and Dungeon Fighter Online get a honorable mention but I really haven't had a chance to be in love with them since my MMO muscles are weak and my gaming time short in my age.

RPGS: Classic and modern I'm a big fan of RPGS. I've fallen in love with Dragon Quest recently although it was one of the first RPGS I played (Dragon Warrior NES.) I remember looking through Nintendo Power Magazine and looking at the illustrations and descriptions of the weapons and just getting SO JAZZED. Anyway Super Mario RPG is the best RPG of all time followed by Pokemon Blue/Red would be my call. I love modern Pokemon games but I haven't spent much time with others.

Action RPG: Monster Hunter, Yakuza (love but never played much,) Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil (2/4/7) and so many more. I'm a hunting horn main and I am head over heels for Monster Hunter and will always love it.

Competitive: I like to compete but I don't do it much because I have /emotional issues/ and I can't keep my lid on proper. That said I really have a great time playing Smash Ultimate (not a Melee guy sorry it's too hard for me) Street Fighter, Tekken, Granblue VS, and Smash are kind of the only ones I like playing these days. While I used to do a lot of FPS competitives I'm boycotting Actiblizzard so no COD or Overwatch til they remove Bobby Kotick. Valorant is too hard and time consuming but I love it (I'm bad at it sadly.) I might play Fortnite someday but idk if I'll get into it.

the COMF: I love some comfy games. Some of the above fit that category for me (Pokemon Red/Blue to be specific) but Stardew, Animal Crossing, anything Wholesome games, Minecraft, Stray etc. Anything that can make me sleepy usually fits me well.

Platformers: I get into some 3d mario games. I especially enjoyed Odyssey. I kind of get most of my platforming jazz out of the metroidvania stuff but I couldn't get through this without mentioning how much the 3d (and 2d for that matter) mario games matter to me.

There's obviously millions more games that I forgot and couldn't touch on. Day of Defeat was a formative competitive shooter experience as well as all the other HL1 mods I played. I could go on forever but I hope this helps you understand what kind of gamer I am. While I'm pretty eclectic in taste I'm also pretty formulated. These days I spend most of my time trying to find coop experiences to have with my wife so lmk if you've got some cool ones I should look into. 🧡

She wiggles it around for a bit in the air until realizing the person she was talking to wasn't listening whatsoever

"Are you playing fortnite on another tab?!"

She leans a little closer to her laptop, looking around

"Huh? What? Of course not." Yoongi laughs, obviously lying as he continues to stare at the second tab on the screen

His voice slowly fades away as he aggressively clicks faster on the mouse

A familiar voice yells through the mic on the other side and Chelsy instantly knew what was going on

"You just killed me, you asshole!"

"Is it my fault you don't know how to play?" Yoongi teases, letting out a victory laugh and the voice just continues to fire back at him with hurtful words

"I've been trying to call you and add you to the group call for literally a whole ass hour."

It was silent until the sound behind the mic shuffles around

Chelsy snaps out of the moment, blinking a little

"Nothing." She smiles

Yoongi just sips his water again, looking at her with a blank face, obviously not believing it

"We've known each other since elementary school." Namjoon says, now pressing pause on his mouse

"You really think by now we can't tell when you're lying?"

Chelsy lets out one more sigh, looking at the two

"I just want college to be-" She pauses

"More spectacular than how our high school days were." She shrugs

"This is just one more step closer into our official adult life! I think we should take advantage of every opportunity that would remind us that we're still young, you know?"

The boys remain quiet until Namjoon lets out a small scoff

"I've always admired that about you." He admits

"You remind us about the good things in life, and not just school and work."

"It's one of the many reasons why you're such an amazing person." He compliments

"That and if me and this asshole were alone, we'd probably be dead by now." He teases

"We wouldn't have a sense of direction."

"It's true." Yoongi agrees

"He'd be crying right now because I beat him for the third time, but since you're here-"

"Okay, that's literally the exact opposite of what I was implying you dick." Joon squints, having the two let out a small laugh

"I think that's enough for tonight you guys." Chelsy smiles, stepping in

"We should all get some sleep yeah?" She suggests

"I wanna be able to explore the campus more before we go to our classes."

"She's right." Yoongi nods, taking his last sip

"It's a good thing we all chose to major in the same thing." Namjoon mentions

"Not a lot of people get into nutrition."

"Yeah, some of us got in out of pure luck." Yoongi teases, pointing to Namjoons frame

"I have the feeling that you want to fight." Namjoon snaps and Yoongi just laughs

"Okay, really though." Yoongi smiles

"Let's get some rest. I gotta learn how to get back on my sleeping schedule."

"We'll be in front of your house by eight thirty." Namjoon smiles

"Eight fifteen!" Chelsy corrects him

"Remember?"

"Yes mom." Yoongi teases and Chelsy rolls her eyes before the three of them said their goodnights and goodbyes

She closes her laptop shut before rushing into bed and turning off her bed lamp

Staring up into the darkness, Chelsy's mind starts to wander out of both excitement and anxiety

Although it seemed as if the nerves overpowered most of her body, she was excited and ready for this new step into her new life

So how was your day hun? 🌌

honestly rly good!!! i slept in and caught up on a lot of sleep!! and it was SO SO SO hot so i was at the beach for a solid few hours w my friends (i wore a lot of sunscreen) then i went and had a late lunch/early dinner w my mama to celebrate me being on holidays hehe then when i got home i just chilled out and then one of my friends asked me if i wanted to play fortnite (lmao leave me alone) and i had so much fun ???? i forgot how much fun we have playing that game

Connecting…

Your screen shows a wall, and you let out a laugh. “Come on, ‘Lix, where are you?”

A head of hair pops into view, along with a forehead. Slowly, his eyes come into view, and then his nose and freckles, and then his whole face.

“Hi there, baby,” you smile fondly. 

“I’m so excited to see you I might just jump through the screen.”

“Oh, shut up,” you mumble with a roll of your eyes, unable to keep the smile from your face. “How are you? How are the boys?”

Felix shuffles around, and the phone is suddenly very close to his face. You don’t mind the view though. It was still Felix, after all. 

“You asked me that two days ago, y/n. Not much changes… BUT Jisung came down with a cold. Sucks to be him, aye?”

“Oh my, is he going to be okay?”

“First of all, that was just rude Felix, and y/n, yes, I will be!”

Your eyes widen at the familiar but unexpected voice. “Hey, ‘Lix, is he…”

Felix rolls his eyes and shoots a feign glare somewhere to the right of the screen. “Jisung, you said you’ll be quiet!”

“I never asked you to make fun of-” Jisung breaks off in a coughing fit. “Anyways, hi y/n!”

“Get better, Jisung!”

“Yeah, yeah. You lovebirds talk quietly now, yeah? This old man’s tryna sleep.”

“Old man?”

“He’s talking about himself, y/n.”

You break into laughter. You can hear Jisung mumble a few things before falling into silence. 

“So, when are you landing?”

“I should land in Korea around 2pm…”

“I can’t wait to see you tomorrow… I don’t know if i can sleep at all!” He says, rubbing his eyes as he talks. “There’s a new cafe that opened by the dorms, and it has great desserts. Also, the dog cafe! You can meet that golden retriever! Oh yeah, and all the members want to spend a day with you too… There’s so much to do when you get here, y/n. I can’t wait.”

Felix falls into silence, a lovestruck smile on his face. If you weren’t so entranced by the ideas and plans he had, you might have made a joke and teased him.

Living far away from your boyfriend wasn’t the worst thing. It meant that you could both focus on your selves, and talk to each other when you were both free and able to do so. Sometimes, you thought that it wouldn’t be too different even if you were living in the same country as Felix. With tours and schedules, it wasn’t like you would be able to meet up often anyways. However, that didn’t mean there weren’t any cons. When you and him were both free, the only way to meet up was online. You called often, and playing games together was also a common occurrence. You had a lot of memories of beating him in chess. 

You guys could only meet up in person once or twice a year. You often visited for Christmas and during one of the holidays (given that he wasn’t away on tour). If you were lucky, he would have a concert in your city, and you could meet him for a day. 

You were on one of your school breaks now, and he had few schedules within the week. It was the perfect opportunity to go visit. 

“Hey babe, stay in call with me tonight?”

“Of course, y/n. Until you fall asleep.”

And he does. You fall asleep to his breathing, and he to yours. It ends up being Jisung that ends the call, if only to prevent Felix from using too much of the internet.

You: boarding the plane now. See you soon!!

You send him a quick selfie of you and your passport before pocketing your phone and getting in line. 

On the plane, you were seated next to an old lady who offered you the window seat.

“I’ve had my fair share of plane rides, dear. Enjoy the view, why don’t you?”

She was awfully kind, and had many interesting stories to tell you. You were thankful for the company, despite having only met her.

“I’m going to see my granddaughter… she’s about your age, too. Who are you off to see, darling?”

“My boyfriend,” you replied with a smile as you pass her her food. “He lives in Korea, so we don’t meet often…”

“Ah, what a lucky young man to have someone like you come visit! Say, is he studying?”

You shake your head. “He’s… he’s part of an idol group.”

The lady lets out a laugh. “My granddaughter is obsessed, I tell you. What’s his group name?”

You spend at least an hour of the flight telling her about Stray Kids and letting her hear some of their music. She even lets you take a selfie with her, which you send to Felix.

You: made a friend. She said she’s going to introduce skz to her granddaughter if she doesn’t already listen to you guys.

You part ways with the old lady after helping her get her bags. She thanks you endlessly, and wishes you and Felix a happy life. You find it highly endearing, yet amusing at the same time - she made it sound like the two of you were newly weds. 

You: felix, where are you

You: don’t tell me you were playing fortnite and forgot about me :(

Walking out of the arrival gate, you see many people running up to hug their family and friends. You wonder briefly if the lady’s granddaughter is somewhere in the crowd. There’s one group of people that stand out - a massive family, ranging from babies in their parents arms to grandparents. A young couple were walking towards them, and someone you presumed to be the mother runs up to hug the girl, who seems on the verge of tears. You look away from what seemed would be an intimate moment, and-

You feel him before you see him, arms wrapped around yours and squeezing you so tight you couldn’t turn around. You would have panicked, had it not been for the familiar cologne and the faintly whispered “I missed you so much” into your hair.

“Let- Let go- Let me hug you too…” You whine, but you grab Felix’s arms anyways and cradle them to your chest. “Baby, let me see your face…”

“I can’t believe you thought I would have forgotten about you,” he says, and you can almost hear the pout in his voice.

He loosens his arms and you turn around. A face mask covers the bottom half of his face, but there was no mistaking the freckles decorating his face, and the love in his eyes. Pulling down his mask, you put your forehead against his, the tip of your nose barely brushing his. 

“Long time no see, ‘Lix.”

The airport seemed to fade into a blur around you, the noise of trolleys and chatter blending together. It was just you and Felix, right now, and that was all that mattered.

My Small Review of Tawna and Mario 35th All Stars

So Crash Bandicoot 4 and Super Mario 3D All Stars.

Seeing Crash Bandicoot 4 reveal of Tomboyish Tawna is surprising. I really like her design, but a few quirks. Well, seeing her part, she seems interesting, and I favorite some fanarts. I haven't completed the first or third game, but I am excited to see Crash 4. Tawna's design is known to be attractive. On one thing, I know her hair style looks like a design from Fortnite, and a blue dye seems a bit off. I would pick red to suit the style more. People mentioned that she looks like a Tumblr style of art, but her outfit and facials looks more detailed. Her hair kinda looks like an odd choice, but tolerable! Wished they kinda picked a better hair dye. Still, it's nice to see another dimensional Tawna. She's known for having a curve behind. Hehe. I would like to see more of her when the game comes out. She seems like a cool character.

Also, Super Mario 3D All Stars reaction review and the compilation itself. When it was announced, most were happy, but some had concerning thoughts about it. It was first announced to be only digital and limited, so you can't really buy the game after March. Back then, we never heard about a physical copy, so it was more concerning that being limited and only digital would mean you could never find a legal copy of it ever again. Super Mario 25th All Stars Limited Edition was only physical release with Super Mario All-Stars inside the disc, which you can still find on sites like Ebay or Amazon, regardless of the price at least. Around the time the compilation came out last week, I see people getting physical copies, which is a good thing. Another problem was the price. It's $60 for three games. It didn't need to be that much since they're just emulated (Galaxy 1 is partial) with texture pack. I think it could be at $40, unless if they included Super Mario Galazy 2, which would make sense to be $60. It should be somewhat easy to include the second game inside the compilation, since both use the same engine and could be compiled the same way as the first game.

Still, besides the limited edition (somewhat dissolved with physical release appearing) and the price (lack of SMG2), it's a great announcement for Super Mario 3D All Stars. Super Mario 64, I like the HUD having high textures. It's 720p, even in Docked mode, which should be 1080p. Still, it's a popular game that many people want. I know there's unofficial port for the Switch that runs in 60fps and widescreen with texture packs and is more truly a remaster, but official choice is not a bad take at all. I saw Digital Foundry's video, and for Super Mario Sunshine and Galaxy, they look a lot cleaner and sharper. Sunshine has widescreen which is an exciting take. Dolphin Emulator won't run that well on the Switch or Nvidia Shield, both being Tegra X1 chips, so Super Mario Sunshine and Galaxy are excellent choice for the 35th anniversary bundle to play the game officially on Nintendo Switch. If you don't have the switch yet and want to get it, you can find the physical copy if you plan to buy a switch later.

Those are my two takes, and all positive, while addressing a few things. Those are exciting thing for gaming this month. June was a horrible take, because I had to write about Pokemon Unite and address its huge problems. Here, it's generally positive. I plan to write a review for Sword and Shield once I finish the game completely, with TWO DLCs first to take a look back to when it came out. Have a happy night!
